FAQ’s Regional Construction
1) Can you tell me how much a barn/arena will cost?
The cost is dependent on the size, style, and customization for your barn and or arena. Once
we establish your size/style we can give you an estimate.
2) What about the permit process? Do you provide that service?
For local construction we will prepare the permit application and the site plan. The cost of
preparing the application and the site plan the cost of the permit will be billed to the owner.
3) Who prepares the construction site?
We need a level compacted site prior to start of construction. This can be the owner’s
responsibility or we can hire sub-contractor. We can provide specifications as to what we need
for the site. We can hire an experienced subcontractor to provide the service to prepare the
site if the customer wants.
4) Do you help with determining where the best place to locate the barn or arena?
Yes – for local construction only. We will look at the site and make suggestions based on
factors like exposure, drainage, soil conditions…etc… However the final decision is that of the
owner.
5) Do you ever build barns with living quarters?
Yes- In fact, we have a special design the uses more of a foundation that is found in home
construction vs. a pole barn construction.
6) Do you have references?
Yes, references are available upon request. The company is comprised of employees that have
several decades of experience.
7) If I want to change, add, or delete something how is that handled?
If the change is significant and will alter the cost of the project a change order will be prepared
and signed by the owner and the company prior to ordering or doing any work on the change.
8) Do you provide financing?
No – The contracts are structured so that the payments are spread out over the duration of the
project. Usually deposits are collected when the contract is signed, at the start of construction,
when the roof is on, when the walls are up, and the final. This payment schedule is an example
only. The payment schedule can be adjusted to meet the financial needs of the customer. By
this “pay as you go” process the will be no credit check.
9) Do I need to have insurance in case someone gets hurt on the job?
Employees are covered by company’s insurance and L&I.
10) Do you guarantee your work?
There is a 1 year warranty for workmanship and materials.
11) Do you do turnkey Construction?
We do turnkey construction in WA. However, depending on the size of the project we will
consider going out of state.
12) What is the duration of the construction process?
It can take as little as 3 to 6 weeks to build a barn or arena. It largely depends on how much
preparation took place before the kit arrives.
